The Aguat Wuha Artificial Dam solves 2,405 farmers' Animal Drinking Water Problems
ORDA Ethiopia Excutive Directos Paid a Work Visit to the Dam.
Development Food Security Activity (DFSA) project, currently Resilience for Food Security Activity Project (RFSA), built Aguat wuha artificial dam, a volume of 100, 5543 M3, which mitigates 2,405 farmer's water problem for their animals. The project dam was built by a consortium of #CARE, #World Vision & ORDA Ethiopia with a budget secured from #USAID.
ORDA Ethiopia Excutive director’s paid a field visit on the current state of the dam and the benefits to the community. Dr. Alemayehu Wasse, Executive Director of ORDA Ethiopia, said the dam will not only provide adequate water to local farmers animal’s but also play a vital role in restoring the biodiversity of the region.
The construction of the Fendika Deep Well Water Project, which will benefit 9,000 people, is nearing completion.

ORDA Ethiopia receives a total of $500,000 direct fund from the USAID - US Agency for International Development to provide water trucking, hygiene and sanitation activities in centers of Internally Displaced People (IDPs)in the Amhara region.
ORDA Ethiopia highly acknowledges the USAID for its commitment in supporting relief, rehabilitation/humanitarian & development oriented projects in the Amhara region & throughout Ethiopia too.
