Seedlings are being planted

ORDA Ethiopia is planting 6.8 million seedlings in 2023 |Ethiopia’s wet season (summer) to increase environmental security and forest cover through projects implemented in different areas of Amhara region. One of the projects is ORDA Ethiopia’s Landscape Restoration Using Church Forest Relices Project plantation.

The project is being carried out in Estie woreda and Dera woreda of South Gondar Zone and 1.24 million seedlings of indigenous, exotic and economically useful vegetable species are being planted on communal lands, church compounds and on private owners.
