Board members of ORDA Ethiopia conducted an evaluation of the organization's 2022 performance and 2023 plan in Debre Berhan city. Afterwards, they made a field visit to the activities of ORDA Ethiopia's charity water project, which is working to expand access to safe drinking water in the North Shoa zone.

One of the water facilities visited is the construction of the Neb Gedal safe drinking water facility located in the center of Amba Kebele in Bassonawarra woreda. The water facility has an 18 km long water pipe and a 100 m3 water storage tank. It will benefit 8,500 residents in 3 Kebeles and will have 18 water distribution points. The construction is being completed. They also visited the Gamegna safe drinking water facility, which serves safe water to 500 residents in Chiraro Deber Kebele, Bassonawarra woreda. The board members said that ORDA Ethiopia has been doing concrete works on the ground to change the lives of the community.

ORDA Ethiopia’s Charity Water Project built 452 safe drinking water schemes, which benefits 125,373 residents, since 2019.
