Formation and Strengthening of a Regional Multi-Actor Partnership on Land Governance and Upscaling S2RAI Experiences in Amhara and Gambella familiarization workshop conducted!

A half day familiarization workshop on “Formation and Strengthening of a Regional Multi-Actor Partnership on Land Governance and Upscaling S2RAI Experiences in Amhara and Gambella Project” was officially launched on 12/01/2021 at the presence of WHH, GIZ, and ORDA concerned heads and officers at ORDA, Bahir Dar, Ethiopia

ORDA, funded by the strategic partner WHH and in collaboration with GIZ has started to implement the project in EAST and West Gojjam Zones of Amhara region of Ethiopia.

The project aims to contribute to a functioning land governance system in Ethiopia based on agreed international best practice benchmarks and guided by principles of equity, inclusivity, transparency and accountability thus creating an enabling environment for tenure security and responsible investments in agriculture and food systems for improved livelihood of smallholders, pastoralists and other vulnerable groups
