ORDA Ethiopia’s John’s Rig Wash Project carried out the 2022 annual performance evaluation and 2023 annual plan.

The project has built 130 water facilities (99 shallow wells, 11 spring development and 7 deep wells) in the past years of implementation period, provided users with access to safe drinking water. It also built 32 blocks of ventilated improved pit latrines (VIPL) in 16 schools and played a significant role in keeping the school community hygiene and sanitation.

At the workshop, ideas were raised to help solve institutional operational problems and accelerate community development activities. In particular, it has been stated that all relevant parties should work responsibly so that the project achieves its goals and users can have a better way of life.

In the workshop held in Fnote-Salam city, ORDA Ethiopia's hieger officials and the relevant officials of the woredas where the project is implemented, and beneficiaries participated.
