        Guests from the USAID 1

Higher officials of the USAID and World Vision visit ORDA Ethiopia based in Bahir Dar on 22 July 2022.

The USAID provides more than ETB 4.5 billion in surge of humanitarian and development assistance to the Amhara region through ORDA Ethiopia.

The former SPIR DFSA program has assisted many people that shows progressive changes of the lives of people. However, the conflict returned back many areas for dire conditions of starvation, death and loss of assets.

Following the war and siege of North & South Wollo, South Gondar and Waghemra food insecure woredas in the Amhara region, persistent access issues have restricted the delivery of aid, increasing child & women protection concerns, humanitarian needs, and emergency levels of malnutrition and food insecurity.
