Safe Water for Thirsty ones

                      Thirsty ones

We share the beauty & color of Ethiopia we hear from a poem & a singing at the spring time. We did not pay money to visits that spectacular natural view with a fresh air. Actually, We were there to bring a success story for our readers about water schemes constructed by ORDA’s Charity Water Project.

We were in Mati Village, BasonaWrana Woreda to visit ORDA’s Charity water Project work. The project overcame the farmers clean water problem in the village.

Mr. Yetesha SiYum, aged 53, is among the beneficiaries of clean water in Mati village. His families were using grime water in a small pond. While ORDA’s Charity water project asking him to construct potable water on his farmland, he did not hesitate without compensation. Because they had a sever water problem. For instance their kid left their home with water thirsty. The water used to drink was gained from a natural pond covered by shrubs. Now ORDA’s Charity water project has solved their entire hygiene & sanitation problem via building water point.

I had a chance to visit a pond used to drink by Mr. Yetesha and I saw only a pond covered by greenish weeds. But while I approach it more, I could see water insects flying freely. It was horrible to us to think about drinking such water. This problem has created for them to get water scheme from NGos.
