ORDA Received White Album & Euro Coin Award from German Agro Action

It is unveiled that Organization for Rehabilitation and Development in Amhara (ORDA) has received a White Album and Euro Coin prestigious award and recognition for its best achievements, commitments and for working in poverty focused programs and for establishing strong partnership with GAA for many years.
The Information obtained from Communication and IT Service of ORDA heralds that GAA has awarded ORDA a White Album and a ten Euro Coin while it celebrates its 50th Golden-Jubilee ceremony in Bone, German in April, 2012.
The information revealed from referring to the historic preceding documents noted that ORDA-GAA joint cooperation which started basically in Relief and Rehabilitation program was transformed into sustainable food security with an Integrated rural development programs aimed at developing self reliance on food security in different areas of the Amhara Region some years ago.
The information released also indicated that the White Album and Ten Euro Coin award signify the two developmental organizations’ long time bilateral cooperation and their common in an effort to collaborating to alleviate the severe shortage of food insecurity people living in the Amhara region.
The Service explained that this golden award shows not only where the position of ORDA but also its level of achievements, commitments and the level of the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Furthermore, said the service, the recognition award strengthens the existing bilateral cooperation between GAA-ORDA and ignites the motivation to work in partnership in the future.
Ato Dejene Miniliku, Deputy and Programs Director of ORDA received the White Album and Euro Coin award from the Finance Minister of Germany, guest of honor.
It is recalled that ORDA received the First Class National Green Award in 2007 for its excellent performance on Natural Resource Development as well as for its National Award on Millennium Development Goals for Water and Sanitation Program in 2009.
It is reported that International renowned people, BMZ, Deuchville, German renowned personalities, universities, and 25 organizations from globe were part of the Golden- Jubilee and awards ceremony.
