German Government Economic Cooperation (BMZ) Bengo Group members paid a field visit to the Inclusive Food Security and Nutrition Project works.

The Inclusive Food Security and Nutrition Project (IFNS) has been benefiting 9,000 households living in poverty in 2 districts of East and West Belessa in the central Gondar zone and Ebinat woreda under South Gondar Zone in 9 selected kebeles from each woreda in the Amhara region of Ethiopia for the past 5 years. The project has been funded with a total of 2.72 million euros from the German Government Economic Cooperation (BMZ) (75 percent) and CBM (25 percent) and has been supporting a total of 45 thousand people from January 2018 to December 2022.

Members of the German Government Economic Cooperation (BMZ) Bengo team visited the ongoing support of the Bahir Dar Physical Rehabilitation Center in Bahir Dar city. Inclusive food security and nutrition project, with a budget of 4.1 million birr, is constructing shelter and paving to the courtyard of Bahir Dar Physical Rehabilitation Center. By making the compound comfortable for person with disabilities (PWDs), it will make the stay of PWDs enjoyable. Previously the project supported medical equipment; worth of 846 thousand birrs (€19,893.49), like disabled beds, digital ultrasound, nerve stimulation, muscle stimulation, and other equipment has been supported for the center. In this way, the shortage of medical equipment has been alleviated.
