The International ‘Achievements Forum 2017’ was hosted by Europe Business Assembly on the 28th of March, with the support of the Academic Union, Oxford and the International Club of Leaders. Traditionally held in the Institute of Directors in London, the famous business elite meeting point in the UK, it is the first in the row of scheduled annual initiatives 2017. ‘EBA Global’ community members had a unique opportunity to present themselves to the target audience of corporate leaders, investors, academia and like-minded professionals. Participants benefited from meeting top executives, business gurus, senior state officials and investment experts from across the globe at plenary and breakout working sessions and sharing ideas and experiences in a series of panel discussions, presentations and case studies. Grounded in, and attracting high profile delegates from the real world of business, the function is a key driver in the development of practical commercial exchanges. The traditional Meet Achievements Award Ceremony culminated the forum. This became a celebration of the most prestigious individuals and the best regional companies awarded with honourable international distinctions. At the Award Ceremony the Socrates Nomination Committee was proud to present name as a leading regional environmental programs implementation industry provider. Organization for Rehabilitation and Development in Amhara, Ethiopia was awarded with the Best Enterprise Award for the strong position at the national market and in international sector ratings, successful implementation of modern management technologies, staff excellence, and the efficient marketing strategy. Dr. Amlaku Asres Zewdie, Executive Director of Organization for Rehabilitation and Development in Amhara, Ethiopia, was honoured as the Manager of the Year. Organization for Rehabilitation and Development in Amhara, Ethiopia (ORDA) is a local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)with the main mission to empower communities and their institutions to achieve livelihoods and environmental security. ORDA arranges this by building community capacity and their institutions to create opportunities for long-term, sustainable food, nutrition and environmental security. The Best Enterprise Award project was established in 2000 to present leading regional companies to European business pools. Award nominees are carefully selected by the international expert council. Europe Business Assembly hopes for further successful development and rapid growth of the Organization for Rehabilitation and Development in Amhara, Ethiopia in the future.
