"Animals die in a journey of medical treatment will be saved", farmers of 021 kebele, lasta woreda, has said.

ORDA’s Development for food security activity project has built animal health post, which has 4 classes, in o21 kebele, lasta Woreda, with a cost of 270 thousand birr which is secured from the government of America (USAID). ‘’The Animal health post has Physician’s bedroom, salon, examination room & drug store’’, Mr Amare Gugsa, project engineer, has said.
Since no near animal health post, the kebele has been in difficulties in animal breeding & medical treatment. The farmers were forced to walk long distance with their sick animals to be seen by a doctor, and there was a probability of being died.

Farmer Getaye Amare is a resident of 021 kebele. He reminded that he & his villagers were in problem to run their agriculture work due to animal's death that was aggravated by lack of near animal health post. Now they hope the new animal health post will solve their problem. 
Priest Fenta Dejen is kebele 021’s animal breeding officer. He told that the center will facilitate their hybridization plan of Abergele Goat & dalper sheep species.
